April 2008

Saturday, April 5, 2008
Redbud Festival - Toast one of the first blooming trees of spring, the Eastern Redbud tree, with our Smith Mountain Lake Redbud wine!  Bring blankets and chairs to enjoy a beautiful, relaxing spring day in our quiet country setting.  Kids will enjoy Arbor Day display and they are encouraged to bring their kites, weather permitting of course!
11:00 am – 5:00 pm.  Free.

May 2008

Saturday, May 10 & Sunday, May 11, 2008
Mother's Day Weekend - Celebrate Mom by stopping by Hickory Hill Vineyards & Winery where she can sample our award winning wines.  All Moms receive a Hickory Hill wine glass.  Bring a picnic to enjoy in our scenic picnic area overlooking the vineyard.  Kids of all ages will enjoy the yard games available, or simply take a stroll through the vines.  Feel a little more adventurous?  Hike our best kept secret – A Nature Trail around the farm!
11:00 am – 5:00 pm.  Free.

Saturday, May 24
Music Series:  Sunset Saturday - Kickoff Edition - Listen to VA singer/songwriters perform as you enjoy an evening of good friends, fun and wine. Bring chairs and blankets and settle in to watch the sun set over the vineyard.  Performer to be announced.
4pm–8pm  $5 General Admission; $7 w/souvenir glass; Kids free.  Designated Drivers free.

June 2008

Saturday, June 14 & Sunday, June 15

Fall Foliage Open House - Get out and see the beauty of fall.  We will have a different wine on sale each weekend! Take a walk on our Nature Trail or just stroll through the vines.

Holiday Open House - Join us for a “Country Christmas” in our decorated farmhouse Tasting Room and Gift Shop, where you can sip our hot mulled wine, taste seasonal snacks and purchase gifts for the wine lovers on your holiday gift list.

February 2009

Saturday, February 14 & Sunday, February 15, 2009
Winter Whites & Red Hearts Open House - Join us on Valentine’s weekend as we shake off the winter cold and kick off the season with a white wine weekend!  All white wines will be on sale!  Coffee and hot chocolate will warm you up on the inside.  Or brave the chill outside and see what grapevine pruning is all about.

Beginning this weekend, our Tasting Room and Gift Shop will resume complimentary tastings and tours Thursday through Monday from 11:00am to 5:00pm.  Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment.
